We discovered one unique trick for making your slime look like crystal slime/clear glass slime, which I’ll leave for you to discover at the end.
For this slime exercise, we used a whole cup of glue. With only 1/2 cup, you can make a nice mound of slime.
Adults are the best for this! If you’re splitting the recipe, use 1/4 cup warm water and 1/2 cup borax powder.
3. Stir the borax powder into the water until it is completely dissolved. This is where you activate your slime. When you make a saturated solution, you’ll notice that a few particles are still floating around and settling to the bottom. Stir for a minute to ensure the powder is evenly distributed.
4. To the glue/water combination, add the borax solution (borax powder and water). Begin to stir! Your slime will start to form almost immediately. Continue swirling until your slime has formed, then transfer to a dry container.
You should not have any remaining liquid in the bowl with our new borax powder to water ratio. If that’s the case, keep stirring. You may have leftover liquid if you use a larger ratio of borax to water.
5. To increase the consistency of the slime, continue to knead it with your hands for several minutes.
You can also knead the slime in the bowl before picking it up. This slime is flexible, yet it can also be sticky. However, keep in mind that while increasing the amount of activator (borax powder) lessens the stickiness, it also makes the slime firmer. You may always add to your collection, but you can’t take anything away!
